Paint finishes

etch primed and seam sealed

The standard option for finishing our bulkheads is to acid etch prime and seam seal the bulkheads along with applying stoneguard to the critical parts such as footwells. This ensures that the bulkheads are ready for you to paint upon delivery.
From £1500 +

Etch primed/seam sealed + stonechip

This option is finished as above fully etch primed and seam sealed with the addition of stonechip application on some areas such as the footwells.
Stonechip provides protection against gravel and stones thrown up from the wheel as well as providing some sound and vibration dampening.
This is available on any bulkhead for an extra £30

Topcoat ready to fit

The bulkheads are prepared as above and then can be finished in a top coat of your choice, providing you have the colour code for the chosen colour. Finished using modern 2k paint to ensure a good finish which will be durable and last many years.
From £1595 +

Bare metal

Bare metal is an option in which we can supply your bulkhead, there will be a small amount of overspray from the weld through primer used during assembly. This could be appropriate if you want to consider galvanising.
At present galvanising is not a finish that we offer because there is a risk the galvanising process can distort the panels and block holes meaning having to re-drill or re-tap holes.
Its worth mentioning that potentially a lot of problems of rust in the original parts is due to not being properly painted or maintained.
